High horsepower drivetrain development

We took a road trip and picked up this ‘01 NB back in November after spending a while hunting for a white NB2 with black interior. As you can see, we've already made some essential changes. This car’s primary goal is to be a street car, but it will see some track time here and there. The fun part is that this car is going to get a K series swap with BOOST.  In order to do that, we'll be developing a new transmission option that can handle all the horsepower and torque you can throw at it.  The engine...

Miatas at MRLS recap video!

We had a blast last month at Miatas at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca! There were a total of four K swapped Miata present, all taking people for rides the whole weekend. Our friends at Moss Miata put together a great video from the weekend. Watch closely and you'll see some K series goodness on display, as well as our K24 test car blasting to the top of the corkscrew with one of the many passengers in the car. We already can't wait for 2017!

K24A2 dyno testing day!

Last week we did a full day of independent dyno testing that I want to share. K-swap How-to: A by-the-book K24A2 NB2 swap build thread

Our friends at Trackspeed Engineering in Sunnyvale, CA, began their first KMiata swap on a customer's car a few weeks ago. Andrew Kidd is doing a fantastic job of documenting the build with lots of details and pictures. You can find the build thread on MiataTurbo.net HERE. This car is designed to be a well-balanced street/track car, and we're using it to test some new goodies for our customers.  It also features our new Street Header, and the Skunk2 Ultra Street manifold. Go check it out! You can also learn more about Trackspeed at trackspeedengineering.com
