Since the K24 is such a tall engine, vertical engine bay clearance is always a challenge on a K24-swapped NA/NB Miata.

As rubber or poly engine mounts break in, the K24 can settle lower than intended, leading to clearance issues between the steering rack and oil pan. These steel, zinc-plated engine mount locks prevent engine sag by locking the mounts in the highest position within the slot, limiting vertical compression and keeping the engine at the correct height.

Now included as standard in all KPower engine mount kits using this style, each set includes four precision-machined steel spacers and two longer M12 bolts for proper installation. These locks offer a simple solution for maintaining long-term engine position.

Installation Tip:
Install your mounts in the lower position for initial use. After one track day or 100–200 street miles, flip the locks to the upper position to prevent further settling.
