When we released this oil pan to K swap the 1984-1994 BMW 3 Series (E30) many years ago, we took inspiration from the BMW M engine, and designed a front sump oil pan so we could keep the engine as close as possible to the firewall. Zero chassis modifications are required, meaning the subframe, suspension, and even front sway bar can stay in the factory locations.

Initially designed for the 1984-1994 BMW 3 Series (E30) vehicles, this front sump oil pan has been used in countless unique K swap projects, some examples include:

• 1982-1993 Mercedes 190E
• 1989-2002 Nissan S13 and S14 Chassis
• 1983-1987 Toyota AE86 Corolla/Sprinter Trueno
• 1978-1985 Mazda RX7 (FB)
