Our E30 hydraulic power steering kit provides an easy and cost effective way to add power steering to your K swapped E30. We’ve been running an early version of this power steering kit on our E30 test vehicle since it was first built, so we’re excited to bring this production version to market.
This kit is designed for vehicles that are not running air conditioning, as our bracket relocates a stock 2002-2004 RSX power steering pump below the alternator in roughly the same location as the factory A/C compressor (JDM K24A pumps are not compatible). Use this kit with a stock belt tensioner and an EP3 idler pulley.
Unlike other power steering pump relocation kits on the market, this one is specifically designed with lots of oil pan clearance for front sump RWD oil pans like our KPower E30 pan.
The kit includes:
Machined aluminum pump mounting bracket and arm
Machined aluminum -6AN high pressure pump inlet
-6AN high pressure hose
M14 banjo to -6AN steering rack inlet
M16 banjo to ⅜” barbed steering rack outlet
OEM Honda low pressure elbow fitting
Serpentine belt (7PK1715)
All necessary hardware
To complete installation, the user must supply the following items, depending on preference: stock E30 (or aftermarket) P/S fluid reservoir, 3/8" and 5/8" rubber hose and clamps, and a small power steering cooler of your choice. Fill the system with ATF fluid, such as Redline D4 ATF.
