KPower 86 Link Wiring Harness

KPower 86 Link Wiring Harness
This wiring harness is included in our K24 86 Complete Swap Package. We offer it separately for customers looking to upgrade from their current electronics system or spread out the purchases of their K swap project.
We now offer this wiring harness because the Link GT86 ECU is an attractive unit that plugs directly into the chassis harness with no PnP adapters needed, it retains all OEM CANBUS dash and chassis function, it has a broad range of functions, and its ability to expand and cover some of the more wild builds our customers have been asking for!
Armed with an ECU up to the task, we designed a motorsports-grade K series engine wiring harness that connects directly to the same engine harness connector as the FA20 harness once did. It’s built from all-new OEM connectors, Teflon insulated wire, and Raychem DR-25 loom. It’s as pretty and as durable as it is functional.
Just like our Haltech Electronics Package, this Link Electronics Package is pre-wired for A/C and an oil pressure/temperature combination sensor.
Building on our experience with the 86 platform, we have gone the extra mile to ensure our customers seeking turbo power are ready for a streamlined wire harness. That's why this harness also has connections for a boost mac solenoid to control internal and external wastegates, an ethanol flex fuel sensor connector, and also features a fluid pressure sensor connector for monitoring fuel pressure.
We of course recommend a true wideband O2 sensor kit like the Link Wideband Sensor Kit. We do not recommend running any non Link WBO2 sensors.
Bolting to the chassis just like the factory ECU, the Link GT86 sits just under the dash. All of this is installed by only moving the glovebox, and at no point does new wiring need to be passed through the firewall.
This harness includes:
- KPower motorsports grade Raychem engine wiring harness
- KPower injector sub-harness
- Connectors for adding mac boost solenoid, flex fuel sensor, fuel pressure sensor
Installation instructions and free basemaps can be found in our complete KPower 86 installation guide, available for download here.
Important Notes:
- All products are designed for off-road motorsports use only. Users are responsible for complying with all local laws in their county, state, and country.
- Note that our engine wiring harness is designed for 2004-2008 K24A sensors, including the crank sensor, knock sensor, and injectors. It is also wired for a 2006-2008 Acura TSX A/C compressor. We like GPD brand part 6512348.
Installation notes:
- Remove the carbon fiber ECU cover plate:
- Change the bridge connectors from "Primary Injection Mode" from "OEM-DI" to "PORT. Once completed, reinstall the carbon fiber cover plate.
- Change the bridge connectors from "Primary Injection Mode" from "OEM-DI" to "PORT. Once completed, reinstall the carbon fiber cover plate.
- Some K24 engines may require changing Cam/Crank Trigger Setup from "Honda K24 VTC" to "Honda K20 VTC." If the engine will not start, this is a good starting point.
