Successful race engine builders are constantly pushing the limits of load capacity to new levels. Race bearings today inevitably need to match these demands with more competitive bearings. At King Racing we met the challenge with the XP high performance bearings series.

The King High Performance Standard thickness is -0.0005" or -0.01mm smaller than their standard bearing to allow extra oil.

The XP series is a line of bearings with advanced metallurgical and geometric technologies that meet extreme performance loads. It was developed for all performance applications that use forged steel aftermarket crankshafts and produce high loads for extended periods.

King Racings XP series features pMax Black, a unique tri-metal structure that is 24% harder than any other conventional tri-metal race bearing. pMax Black together with the XP geometric features are the ideal combination for performance racing.

As race engines evolve, and become more and more powerful, the need for engine bearings that can withstand the increasingly higher load capacity on these higher power engines is needed. Focusing on Sport compact range, King is offering newely designed items for Honda including both horizontal Honda engines (B series Turbo or NA) and transverse engine (S2000 Turbo or supercharger).

pMAX Kote™ – King factory applied nano-composite polymer coating is a revolutionary approach to coated bearings. It has proven to enhance wear resistance and protect the bearing during metal to metal contact. King offers a wide range of coated race bearings for sport compact and domestic applications.

U-Groove™ – By using a 90° groove as opposed to a chamfered groove, the effective surface area of the bearing is increased. That in turn, increases the bearing load capacity and gives a better load distribution across the surface of the bearing.

Bull’s Eye Tolerance™ – King’s standard for bearing thickness consistency has set new standards in the industry. With King bearings, there is no need to purchase multiple sets of bearings to get the right clearance, no need to grind cranks, and no need to adjust housing diameter.

ElliptiX™ – This newly designed oil slot improves oil ingress without affecting the bearing’s surface or compromising the load capacity.

RadiaLock™ – To prevent spun bearings, King has developed a unique process to customize each bearing’s crush height to meet its specific performance demands.

EccentriX™ – By using elasto-hydrodynamic analysis, an optimized eccentricity value for each bearing is reached and the bearing is custom designed using this value to meet specific performance requirements. This process allows a more stable hydrodynamic lubrication regime is reached.
