This 74mm cable throttle body is standard in most of our swap packages and is our preferred throttle body to be paired with our KMiata intake manifold.

Why a B series throttle body for a K series? 

Lower cost, better packaging in a RWD car, and no idle air control valve (IACV) port on the bottom. The IACV valve is located on the bottom of our intake manifold, so using a B series throttle body offers the cleanest solution.

Additionally, a B series throttle body makes it easy to use an inexpensive OEM B series TPS, which is more reliable than the K series TPS. Our preferred Acuity Hall Effect TPS can also fit on this throttle body with the optional TPS adapter. 

A throttle body gasket and TPS gasket are also included, along with all mounting bolts.

Note: customers using our KMiata intake manifold and a K series MAP will need to close off the B series MAP port on the bottom of the throttle body. We typically use RTV for this.
