AWR's new-and-improved NC engine mount kit is a direct bolt-on replacement for your MX5 chassis. Fabricated steel replacement motor mounts, provided with Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings, mount in the factory location, giving more secure engine support. These mounts improve shifting and completely change the feel of the car keeping power sent to the wheels as it should be.

These mounts help stop drive train lash (rocking) when transitioning from on and off the throttle. Help keep that engine stable inside the engine compartment, putting the power to the ground instead of rocking the engine and missing shifts. These mounts provide more direct throttle response and precise gear selections.

Please note: Two shallow nylon lock nuts are included in the AWR/KPower K24A2 mount kit. Use these two locking nuts to bolt the KPower engine brackets to the AWR engine mount. During installation, look to ensure the nylon material of the nut has full thread engagement on the stud of the AWR engine mount.
