By popular demand, we've developed a throttle body adapter that allows customers running our KPower Intake Manifold to cost-effectively and easily install a drive-by-wire (DBW) throttle body with the correct matching bore size. This adapter is specifically designed for the popular and affordable 74mm Bosch throttle body (part #0280750474).

Our precision-engineered adapter features a tall, thick O-ring on each side—pressure tested to 125 psi—to ensure a reliable, leak-free seal. Four integrated M6 hex nuts allow for confident, torque-to-spec installation. The throttle body bolts thread directly into these countersunk nuts, providing a solid and secure connection.

Unlike aluminum adapters that transmit engine vibrations and lead to throttle body failures, our solution is manufactured in-house using high-strength carbon 3D printing. This material helps dampen vibration, and the throttle body mating surface features raised mounting pads that allow the throttle body to “float” on the adapter, further protecting against loosening hardware and component fatigue over time.

Each kit includes all necessary mounting hardware, NordLock washers, O-rings, and blue Loctite for a clean, simple, and reliable installation.

• If you are running a DBW setup, we also recommend adding our IACV block-off plate.

• Customers using the KPower 86 engine harness should also purchase the Bosch DBW Throttle Body Adapter Harness.

• For track only customers, we also recommend the Winning Formula DBW Throttle body adapter, that utilizes a silicone coupler to absorb engine vibrations.
