Our KPower E36/E46 K Swap oil pan is what makes building a proper handling 1990-2006 BMW 3 series possible.  Based on the success of our remote mounted oil pickup tube system, this pan requires a K20 PRB oil pump conversion (sold separately)

A custom 7 quart road race oil pan is supplied that includes baffles, two trap doors, two drain plugs, and an oil overflow plug.  The pan is specifically designed to accommodate  E36/E46/Z3 steering racks below it. Please note, the tabs on the steering racks for power steering need to be machined away.

Our oil pan features our V2 oil pump housing with an O-ring bore seal, countersunk pickup hanger and screen to reduce oil starvation with dented oil pans, .100" thick oil pan walls, and a 3/8" oil pan rail.

Lastly, every joint in our pan is welded INSIDE AND OUT and also has a number of ribs pressed into the larger sheet metal sections of the pan. We’ve learned through experience that two double welds and the ribs are critical in eliminating harmonics that get amplified across large flat sections. Pans designed without these features will often fatigue over time and eventually crack near the welds.
