For any customer who is building a K series engine, you will need a way to restrict valvetrain travel once you start raising compression, shaving deck height/cylinder heads, and installing aftermarket camshafts. Our research has shown that other forms of limiting the camshaft travel can be done more inexpensively, however a modified camshaft gear offers the best way to have consistent performance and reliability.

These cam gears are made from new OEM gears which are cut using ultra-precise CNC machining that exceeds OEM tolerances.

Drag Cartel offers this modified RBB camshaft gear with 30, 35, 40, or 45 degrees. Custom-cut gears are also available upon request, contact us for those unique needs.
