Cusco offers two versions of their front lower arm brace. They are constructed of high tension lightweight aluminum. The simple Type 1 brace bolts to the lower arm in 2 places and improves chassis rigidity dramatically. This is perfect for a street car that just needs an improvement over stock, but will not be overly stiff. The Type 2 connects in multiple places on the lower arm and is designed for maximum rigidity. This is great for cars that see a lot of track time and need the most possible chassis support. Whether you choose the Type 1 or 2 brace you will not be disappointed. The Cusco Type II lower arm bar features the same tubular high-tension lightweight aluminum design and anti-corrosion paint as the Type I. The difference though, is that this bar improves body rigidity by connecting the lower arm mounts in multiple positions rather than just two, thus greatly increasing the rigidity over the Type I style. Body rigidity is maintained on even the hardest of cornering and dramatically improves steering rigidity, response and traction. The Cusco Type II bar is a multi-point setup and includes all the required hardware for installation. It bolts on easily using normal hand tools.
